Favorite Recipe Friday: Crispy Sweet Potato Fries

I love easy, delicious recipes. These sweet potato fries are one of my favorites because they are sweet, salty, simple, and they can even get a little spicy if you add a touch of cayenne. Such a tasty treat!

Sweet Potato FriesIngredients

2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into even, thin fry shapes
2 Tbsp olive oil
Sprinkling of cornstarch
Salt & pepper
Cayenne (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Toss sweet potato fries in oil and sprinkle with cornstarch, salt, pepper and optional cayenne. Make sure they are evenly coated.
  3. Place fries in a single layer on a dark baking sheet. Don’t use aluminum foil.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through.

Keep an eye on the fries while they bake. If the edges burn a little, that’s ok. They still taste great! You want to make sure you bake them long enough, but not so much so they’re completely burnt.
