Here We Go!

I’m so excited to start this blog! The idea came to me as I was honeymooning in Hawaii with my husband, Rick. As we neared the end of our trip, I thought, “I want to tell everyone about our experience and document all our awesome memories”. We learned a lot from our trip, and I thought sharing our adventure might be helpful for those planning their own voyage to Oahu. More to come on that.

I started journaling about Hawaii, and then I realized I had more to share about all kinds of topics such as cooking, wellness, cleaning tips, saving money, organizing and other life happenings. I looked a little further into blogging and thought I’d give it a try!

So, here I am. I really don’t know what I’m doing, but I’m excited to learn and grow and see where this blog takes me.

A little about me…

My name is Kenzie Manthe. I’m 28 years old, recently married (May 2017), and I’ve lived in Wisconsin for most of my life. I work as a health coach, and I really enjoy helping people with goal setting, planning, and then watching them reach their goals.

Here are a few other fun tidbits about me:

  • I love cooking and trying new recipes. My favorite food is jambalaya, a staple in the Manthe household.
  • My husband and I met in college. We were on the same intermural ultimate frisbee team and later bonded over ballroom dancing.
  • I’m thrifty and love a good deal. My closet features many get-ups from Goodwill.
  • I love the TV show, Friends, and my sisters and I sometimes speak to each other in Friends quotes.

I’m excited to start this blog, and I hope others will find value in my musings!
